Days Hurt You

November 21st, 2004. A tiny-framed, blond-haired, rosy-lipped boy on the train to Toronto. A day full of small bodies and pigtails-- the Santa Claus Parade. Too shy to ask his father if I could take a photograph, so the few shots I got were from my lap, unsubtle, imperfect. I should've, though. I ended up taking a roll full of mediocre photographs for an assignment, wishing I had taken a photo of the boy and his father instead.

Taken with my simplistic Olympus D-560, then spruced up in Photoshop & Paint Shop Pro-- tweaked contrast (somewhat) and colour (very slightly), added border and text. Comments and critique very much appreciated.
